Upon your arrival at Lombok International Airport, our private driver will greet you and transfer you comfortably to your selected hotel in Senaru. There, you will meet your guide, who will provide a detailed briefing about the trekking procedures before your hike.
ITINERARY (start from Sembalun, end at Senaru village):
DAY 1: Senaru Village – Sembalun Village (1.150 masl) – Sembalun Crater Rim (2.369 masl)
- Wake up at 05:30 AM to begin your day.
- Have breakfast at 06:30 AM at the hotel to prepare physically for the trek.
- Transfer by private car to Sembalun Village (approximately 50 minutes).
- Arrive around 07:50 AM and complete registration at the Rinjani Information Center (RIC).
- Start trekking from an elevation of 1,150 masl toward Pos 1 Pemantauan (1,300 masl), which takes about 3 hours.
- Take a short 5–10 minute break at Pos 1 while enjoying the savanna scenery.
- Continue to Pos 2 Tengengean (1,500 masl) in less than 1 hour, where lunch with Indonesian cuisine will be served.
- After lunch, proceed to Pos 3 Pada Balong (1,800 masl), which takes approximately 1 hour, with rest available at huts.
- Continue the ascent through several hills to Sembalun Crater Rim (2,639 masl), taking around 3–4 hours.
- Arrive at the crater rim (camping area) and enjoy breathtaking views of the lake, mountain ranges, and a beautiful sunset.
DAY 2: Sembalun Crater Rim (2.639 masl) – Summit/Top (3.726 masl) – Segara Anak Lake and Hot Springs (2008 masl)-Senaru Crater Rim (2.641 masl)
- Wake up at 02:00 AM and enjoy tea with biscuits as a light pre-trek snack.
- At 02:30 AM, begin the ascent to the summit of Mount Rinjani (3,726 masl).
- The climb takes approximately 3–4 hours, starting with a moderate ascent for about 2 hours.
- Continue through a relatively easy section with a long, pebbled path.
- The final stage is steep and challenging, requiring extra effort to reach the summit.
- From the summit, enjoy breathtaking views of Lombok Island, Segara Anak Lake, Sumbawa, and Bali.
- After sunrise, descend to Sembalun Crater Rim for breakfast with hot ginger tea or coffee, toast, and fried bananas with cheese.
- Continue descending to Segara Anak Lake (±3 hours), where you will have lunch by the lakeshore.
- Walk about 5 minutes to the hot springs, relax in the sulfur-rich water known for its therapeutic benefits.
- After relaxing, hike up for about 3 hours (three hills) to Senaru Crater Rim, where you will camp, enjoy stunning rainforest and island views, and have dinner under the stars.
DAY 03: Senaru Crater Rim (2.641 masl) – Senaru Village (601 masl)
- Enjoy breakfast while watching the sunrise at the campsite.
- Take photos to capture your final moments on the mountain.
- Begin the descent to Senaru Village at around 08:00–09:00 AM.
- The trek down takes approximately 5–6 hours in total.
- Reach Pos 2 around 12:00 PM for lunch.
- Enjoy your lunch break before continuing the descent.
- Continue walking down through the tropical forest trail.
- The final descent to Senaru Village takes about 2.5 hours.
- Arrive at Senaru Village, marking the end of your trek.
- Your driver will transfer you to your next destination (Lombok International Airport or harbour).
