Your stress-free Rinjani adventure begins the moment you arrive in Lombok! Whether you’re flying in, arriving by port, or exploring another part of the island, our team will whisk you away to your pre-booked hotel in Senaru in a private car. Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your expert trekking guide and shown to your comfortable room.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable climb, your guide will provide a comprehensive briefing at the hotel. This will cover essential topics like waste management on the mountain, safety procedures, and a list of items you shouldn’t bring. Plus, this package includes convenient pickup and drop-off services before and after your Rinjani trek so you can relax and focus on the experience.
TOUR PLANS (Departure and Arrival in Senaru Village)
DAY 1: Witnessing the sunrise at Senaru Crater Rim, where breathtaking views of the 3 Gilis and majestic Mount Agung in Bali unfold before you
- Breakfast is served at the hotel at 6 a.m.
- Checking in at the Gunung Rinjani office at 7 a.m.
- From the leading portal of Mount Rinjani National Park, one must climb for one hour to Post 1, which is 915 metres above sea level. During the tours, you will have the opportunity to experience tropical rainforests.
- Having lunch at post 2, which is 1,500 metres above sea level. The climb from post 1 to post 2 takes two hours, which includes some stops.
- During lunch, the sounds of various birds can be heard, and black monkeys can be observed dangling from large trees.
- Continuing hiking to post 3 at 2,000 metres above sea level at approximately 1 p.m. or after lunch. Two hours are needed to go from post 2 to post 3.
- Taking a rest at post 3 while enjoying biscuits and soft drinks.
- Then, continuing the climbing to Senaru Crater Rim (2,641 m above sea level) for 1 hour
- Arriving at Senaru Crater Rim at about 4.30 pm
- Seeing the beauty of Segara Anak Lake and Mount Baru Jari. Mount Baru Jari is located in the middle of Segara Anak Lake.
- At 7 pm, our guide and porter will provide dinner for you.
DAY 2: Enjoying the sunrise with views of Segara Anak Lake
- Having Breakfast while enjoying the sunrise with beautiful views of Segara Anak Lake and the peak of Mount Rinjani.
- Walking down at 8 a.m. to Senaru village. It is a 5-hour journey
- Having Lunch at post 2
- Arriving at the main gate of Mount Rinjani, our driver will take you by car for 15 minutes to the hotel.
- Preparing yourself at the hotel for your next destination, the driver will take you to your next destination as a part of our last service. Please note that the transportation after the climb is already included in the package price.
